Grad student and Jill Hopke receives research grant

SJMC graduate student Jill Hopke has received a Latin American, Carribean and Iberian Studies Field Research Grant. The grants, with funding from the Tinker Foundation and the Nave Bequest, are intended to encourage interdisciplinary research in Latin America, the Carribean, Spain, and Portugal.

Jill received a grant for a project entitled, "Transnational Popular Radio: A Case Study of the Latin American Association of Educational Radios." Congratulations Jill!
