Professor Brossard awarded a Morgridge Center "service-learning" course development grant

Professor Brossard was awarded a "service-learning" course development grant to adapt the course "345: Principles of Strategic Communication" to a service-learning environment. During the Spring of 2008, students in Brossard J&MC 345 section will work with the non profit organization "Clean Boats, Clean Waters" and UW extension to develop a campaign aiming to sensitize lake users to the problem of invasive species, and to promote behavior change. Funds from the grant will be used for focus groups and other research related expenses.
