Doctoral Student Lucy Atkinson named 2008 Graduate Student Fellow of the American Academy of Political and Social Science

In recognition of an outstanding grasp of her discipline’s theories and methods, an enthusiasm for understanding social issues, and the promise of making substantial contributions to the social sciences in the future, Lucy Atkinson has been designated a Graduate Fellow of the American Academy of Political and Social Science. This distinction is reserved for a small set of students throughout the social sciences, including political science, economics, history, psychology, and sociology.
