Homecoming 2007 Takes Over Campus

From Library Mall to Camp Randall, where in the world is Bucky Badger? Bucky was busy this past week as UW celebrated Homecoming 2007.

“There is really a large representation of all the groups between res halls, student organizations and Greeks,” said 2007 Homecoming Court member Lee Kampa. “It’s very neat to see everybody come together for this great opportunity.”

The teams competed in events like the Spirit Parade and Yell Like Hell.

Badger fans watched the student and alumni floats roar down State Street.

The Homecoming Committee announced Tri Delta sorority and Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, the Wisconsin Alumni Student Board and Kronshage Residence Hall as the winners at the pep rally.

“Go Wisconsin! I am so excited,” said Molly Shambeau, also a member of the Homecoming Court. “This is the best week of my life.”

Don’t worry though. Bucky was found in the study abroad office before the Badgers beat the Hoosier in the 96th annual Homecoming game.
