Daron Nealis
Undergraduate Program Coordinator

Originally from La Crosse, WI, Daron Nealis is a 2005 graduate of Denison University in Granville, OH, where she received her B.A. in Film Production and Cinema Studies. During her third year at Denison, Daron studied with the GLCA New York Arts Program where she worked as Resident Filmmaker for Film/Video Arts in Manhattan, a non-profit adult education and fiscal sponsorship organization. She also worked on the set of the 2005 film, The Interpreter, which filmed at various locations in New York City including the UN Building. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Madison where spent a year teaching private violin, viola and drawing lessons at a local non-profit music and arts center. She can be seen around town performing backup vocals for her friends' Talking Heads cover band, Houses in Motion. Daron is responsible for front office management, web updates, and providing assistance to undergraduate students and faculty in the J-School.
