Post a Job Opening

The J-School jobs board is used by undergraduate students, graduate students and recent alumni. With over 90% of our undergraduates completing at least one internship in their academic career (many completing more) and a majority of our graduate students coming from a professional background before beginning their advanced studies, the J-School has many well-qualified candidates for your opportunities in reporting, editing, advertising, public relations or any form of communication.

Job opportunities are shared with J-School students in three ways:

On the Web: Current opportunities are posted online until the deadline for applications has passed or for 30 days if no deadline is noted.

Via e-mail: Opportunities are e-mailed to students weekly.

Posted in hard copy: Job announcements are also posted on the J-School job boards on the 5th floor of Vilas Hall, where many students pass on their way to courses or to meet with faculty.

To post your job opportunity:

You can email the opportunity as a text message or as a Word or PDF attachment to hschroeder@wisc.edu.
