Create a variety of marketing and promotional materials for both the wedding and children's businesses (using programs such as InDesign, Illustrator and photoshop). While we have a variety of materials we use, we're looking to create a consistent look across the board to include materials as simple as letterhead to product order forms, product information sheets, pre and post-photo session info sheets etc. Great assets to your portfolio!
This internship is for a self-starter who is looking for portfolio pieces and/or an opportunity to use their creative voice in a non-threatening environment. If you have a strong understanding of Adobe photoshop and InDesign (or Illustrator) and feel you could take creative control of the process with little direction, this internship is for you. Also a chance to use your copy writing skills if you'd like! We're located in Colorado. If you will be in Wisconsin this summer, you can still apply for this internship as we would talk over the phone and email documents back and forth throughout the internship.
Must own or have access to personal computer and Adobe photoshop and InDesign or/ Illustrator. Strong knowledge of these programs with little direction.
No set hours - internship can be conducted over the phone and electronically or in the Denver area if you'll be here (we love Wisconsin students!). Because the internship revolves solely around this marketing/ graphic focus, it's great for someone with another job or someone needing flexibility.
Potential for stipend at completion of internship.
No need for transportation.
To apply, email Katie Thurmes at katie @jennawalkerphotography.com with interest. Please submit a few design portfolio pieces you might have.
Apply no later than May 3rd. Accepting interest immediately. We can work around your schedule.
