J-School Alum Anthony Shadid Wins the Pulitzer
Anthony Shadid (JBA ‘90) has been honored with a 2004 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting. Shadid has been reporting from Iraq for the Washington Post.

Two alums recognized by WAA
Two School of Journalism and Mass Communication alumni were honored by the Wisconsin Alumni Association at its annual award ceremony. Elliot Lehman ('38) received a 2005 Distinguished Alumni Award and Anthony Shadid ('90) received the 2005 Distinguished Young Alumni Award.

Paulson, WPR awarded a Peabody
Wisconsin Public Radio’s To the Best of Our Knowledge received its first Peabody Award, one of the highest honors in broadcasting. TBOOK's executive producer, Steve Paulson (MA’83), has been with the program since its founding in 1990.
