J-School internship programs

The School of Journalism & Mass Communication helps students prepare for and apply to internships within the industry; but because internships are not required for degree completion, the school does not place students in internships. The J-School does, however, work directly with three internship programs to give students greater opportunity to pursue experience in newspaper and television reporting:

• The Hawkes Newspaper Internship Program
• The WISC-TV Internship Program
• Wisconsin State Journal Internship Program
