In the survey of recent J-School undergraduate degree recipients, 93 percent had completed at least one internship before earning their degree. Many had done more, and all agreed that practical experience played a vital role in finding a job in the field.
Particularly now that our economy has entered a recessionary period, internships have become even more important. The good news is there are more opportunities than ever! More importantly, an internship is a great way to explore a field and determine whether it is a good fit with your personal interests.
